1. Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP)

The cost savings to be made from electronic billing and payments are extremely attractive to large volume billing organizations. Typically e-bills cost a fraction of paper bills to produce with further savings to be derived from the use of electronic payments. There are two main components to EBPP: bill presentation, which is still in the early stages of mass adoption, and bill payment, which is now a part of everyday life with over 25% of payments being made through BPAY® alone...

Our EBPP solutions enable our clients to readily lower the cost of managing their customer receivables, whilst improving their customer self-service options. CommSecure has one of the most secure and feature-rich suites of electronic billing, payment and reconciliation solutions available today. Marketed under the BillSecure and PaySecure brand, these applications deliver:

Financial institutions, utilities and telecommunications companies are just some of the organizations moving to adopt EBPP, and CommSecure expects adoption rates in Australia to track the usage of BPAY within two to three years. This would see up to one in five bills being received and accessed electronically within that time.

2. Share Trading Information Systems

The massive growth in retail (personal) share investors has driven the adoption of online trading in recent years. The increasing sophistication of these investors and the interlocutory nature of global share trading in the 21st century has led to a similar demand for real time market information systems that support online trades.
